Don took Phil and I on a complete tour of the factory.

Thanks Don for a very informative tour.
After C&C profile is cut the wood props are hand sanded to the final profile
Pennsylvania Birch for the wood propellers

Wood strips are selected and laid out for gluing to create the beginning of a propeller
Here the rough cut wood is glued up to the approximate dimensions for specific propellers

Finishing the props in the paint booth.
Brass screws hold the metal leading edge to the wood. Then solder is melted over the screw and then ground down to keep the smooth finish.
Sensenich New blade design.
There are three pitch setting pins with two settings on each pin.

With the pitch setting gage in place, rotate the blade until the pin is touching the gage. Snug the bolts to hold the blade in place.
